Tennis Clothes |
Tennis Clothes GuideShorts are the way to go while playing tennis. They should be loose fitting, and shorter than normal to keep you cool and comfortable. For the top, a tee-shirt will work, or a tank top. The top should be made of materials like cotton, or polyester micro fibers. For women, it's popular to wear a skirt or a dress, while many still do wear shorts. There are also tennis bras and panties readily available. Sweating can be a problem during tennis play. Micro fibers are a great material used in tennis clothing. They're made to quickly extract your perspiration and dry it out. Nike offers a line called Dri Fit. It's a revolutionary technology; it's extremely light, very easy to move in, and great at repelling the sweat. These types of clothes are usually more expensive, and have a luxurious look and feel to them. Wristbands and headbands will also reduce water from dripping down your hand and face. Lot of times, during game play you might need to wipe sweat off your face but a headband will stop this. As well, no one wants to have a loose grip of their tennis racket because it's wet. For the game of tennis, it's customary to wear white. Lots of tennis clubs will only allow this, but more importantly it's better at keeping you cool on hot days because it reflects the sun. The best way to go for a stylish look would be with the Nike tennis line. As well, tennis is usually played on nice sunny days, so a good brand of sun-block or sun-screen will keep your skin healthy. And another important thing, a hat will keep your brains from frying, and prevent the sun from shining directly to your eyes. You might also think about visors, to give you that stylish look. If you play more often, then a couple pairs of clothes will be helpful. Your clothes will tend to get dirty as well, and if you don't play in a club or in a hot climate, darker clothing will do the trick. Adidas, Wilson and Prince provide darker tennis clothing.
