Depending on what venue you want to attend, you will need to go to different places to pick up some tickets. Finding a ticket seller can be hard, as you'll always want the secure knowledge that your getting the right tickets, and at the right price. On the left hand side navigate easily to the search criteria you want to see. There will be virtually no big league tennis tickets that won't be there. Once you purchase the tickets will be physically sent out to you.
Another great place would be www.ticketmaster.com. It will however only show the tickets in North America. They will have you print out the ticket. For more international tickets, just Google the tournament name and the word tickets at the end of the query and in no time you'll be getting ready for the event. But if you'd like to wait in line, and risk the tickets being sold out, you can always go to the venue, the day of the event. Although, in places like Wimbledon, while you wait in line, there are men that walk around giving apples to you and the rest of the lineup during the hot summer when its held.
While buying the tickets, you always want to buy them before they sell out, and best time to go is near the end of the tournament during the big final games. Though these do tend to cost more. As well checking your venue map is a great way to find the section that most serves your needs and price range, and then gives you the ease while purchasing the tickets. A thing to consider is if the sun will be shining at that angle during the day(outdoor venues), if the seat includes the match you want with your favorite athlete, and most importantly how far you'll be from all that action.
