The Jewelry Market of Tennis Bracelets

Tennis bracelets weren't popular until Christ Evert, she in 1987 lost hers and needed to temporarily stop the game until she found it by crawling all over the court for it. Tennis bracelets are like thin pieces of jewelry worn around the wrist. They feature a symmetrical pattern of lined diamonds, and never have an attached memento or pendant. They're one of the most popular styles of bracelets and they're made for both men and women, usually unisex.

You can find almost any design with patterns and colors to meet your exact preference. You can find ones with a price to match your price range, from cubic zirconia's to 27.0 carat diamonds. They're usually from $10, to $30,000 depending on what jeweler you're buying from. They're usually composed of Diamonds, Cubic Zirconia's, Sapphire, Emeralds, Crystals, Topaz, Amethyst, Tanzanite etc. Some of these can be a loose fit, a tight fight, or ones that just wrap around tight but don't connect.

A great place to buy these is online at Ebay.com. Under the category Jewelry and Watches> Bracelets> Tennis you'll find more than couple thousand of these to keep you busy finding the one you want. The site will have a bigger selection than you'll find anywhere else. If your not comfortable shopping online, your local mall should have many, in stores like Birks, and Peoples. There you can compare all them while physically on your wrist. As with most jewelry, there isn't a brand you want to look for, but the actual jeweler company.

To this day they've grown to huge popularity, and a couple years ago Serena Williams wore a Harry Winston brand one, during the U.S. open with a security clip to prevent it from falling of like that 1987 incident. This can be an important feature to look for when purchasing your bracelet, as you'll probably not want to loose it. These bracelets have the name tennis in them as they're very common among the tennis community. You don't need to be professional tennis players for these, as you can wear them to places like school, or to huge banquets.
